SLOW commissioned Tochigi Leather Co., Ltd., a well-known company, to produce the original leather, which was produced after a long period of trial and error.
The raw leather is Tochigi leather made from domestic Holstein steerhide (cowhide that is castrated between 3 and 6 months old).
In order to create a sustainable environment, we apply a thin layer of pigment to the leather tanned using traditional methods, resulting in a unique, delicate and transparent finish.
Utilizing the characteristics of embossing leather, the fine-grained and heavy bit shrink leather can be enjoyed over time while maintaining a classic and delicate impression.
